Pamela Rainone
Pamela is a biblical counselor who journeys with people who are suffering in a way that holds a safe space for their questions and wrestling. She has a BA in Psychology and is certified through the Association of Biblical Counselors. She is a Certified Christian Trauma Care Provider Level 1. For over 20 years, she has served as a women’s ministry leader, small group discussion leader, and mentor in her local church.
Her areas of focus in counseling include spiritual abuse, church wounds, trauma, and chronic pain/chronic illness. In addition, she often helps people who are parenting children with disabilities as well as people who are struggling in oppressive marriages.
Pamela is committed to providing a safe, gracious, loving approach to counseling that is biblically guided and trauma informed. She uses Scripture in her counseling in an organic way—never heavy handed or contrived. Over a decade ago, her own wrestling with God after an autism diagnosis for her son led her to understand that God welcomes our questions and doubts. As she guides the counseling process, no question is off the table, and she considers it an honor to be invited into peoples’ stories.
Pamela is married to her husband Tim, and they have four sons. You can usually find her at her piano, in her kitchen, or by a body of water. She is available for virtual biblical counseling appointments. Request an appointment with Pamela below, or contact her at pamela@christiantraumacounseling.com.
